Sweden-based plastics packaging technology company Petainer is planning to invest millions into its Nordic plant in Lidk ping, Sweden.
The firm, which has recently completed Husky installation, aims to invest more into new injection molding plant and machinery, in a bid to improve its production capacities within the site.
According to the firm, the machinery will enable the plant to run in a more ecological way, which suits the company plans and its motto of environmentally friendly PET packaging solutions.
Petainer group CEO Nigel Pritchard said the firm's investment follows its initial investment plan revealed in the second half of 2012, and will be following in 2013 with further investments.
"This is an exciting time in our development and the investment in the latest technology is a demonstration of our confidence in our Lidkoping business," Pritchard added.
"The equipment will enable the Petainer Group to apply the latest green methodologies and will support our current product portfolio and expansion."
