It is reported that according to statistics released, Turkish seamless pipe imports reached almost 250,000 metric tons in 2012, owing to stronger demand from end-use sectors, such as automotive, HVAC installations, construction, naval architecture and etc.
In 2012, Turkey has imported 96,903 tons of seamless pipe imports from China which is up by 36.8% year on year.
Russia is able to win the second place by exporting 24,910 tons of seamless pipes to Turkey in 2012 even it is down by 40% compared to the same period in 2011.
Overall, the value of these seamless pipe imports in 2012 amounted to USD 295.5 million down by 13.5% year on year.
